Who Are We

The Worcester, Bromyard, Leominster Greenway CIC was set up in August 2020 as a properly constituted company, limited by guarantee. The purpose was to give the project a formal structure with which to engage with outside agencies.

Registered Company 12789473 created on the 3^rd August 2020.

The constitution adopted by the WBLGCIC allows for up to 30 members who are actively involved in pursuing the aims and objectives of the CIC. Out of these Members up to 7 are elected to act a directors and who deal with the decision making process under delegation from the Members.

Currently there are 5 Directors:

As a Community Interest Company the WBLGreenway CIV is a not-for-profit organisation whose nominated backstop charity is the Hope Centre in Bromyard.

In September 2020 the WBLGreenway CIC set up a bank account with the Co-op bank so that it may collect subscriptions, pay running expenses, but more importantly collect the donations and grants needed to pay for the commissioning of a feasibility report from Sustrans – approximately £32,000.
